Dr. Badrinath S is the chief of laboratory services. He has done MD in Pathology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER, Chandigarh). After his post-graduation, he worked in Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Education & Research (JIPMER, Pondicherry) as a senior resident in haematopathology. He worked later as a haematologist in Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru and as a consultant in clinical & laboratory haematology in Kuwait for 15 years. After returning to India in 2009, he has continued to work in Bengaluru. Dr. Badrinath represented India following an invitation by the guideline drafting committee of the International Council of Standardization in Haematology (ICSH) in 2011. He has four years of experience in the isolation and long-term cryopreservation of Hematopoietic Stem Cells (HSC) derived from the umbilical cord blood. In Kuwait, he was also the chairperson for the Hospital Infection Control Committee (HICC) for 12 years.
